This is because a special validation email will be sent to your address with a link that you must click on. No one's going to spam you or something so don't worry about it. Use a hotmail address if your so scared. I don't care (for now anyway). It just has to be VALID. Beware of spam filters though. Sometimes the validation email will be wrongly marked as spam, so watch out! There's really nothing I can do to stop this, it's up to you to check your junkmail box. Your posts and replies will be moderated until you are fully validated by the admin. Also, most likely no one will bother to fully validate you until you make at least one post.
